Imran Khan, the party’s founder and former prime minister, was deemed “fit and healthy” according to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Science’s (Pims) medical report, which PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar published on Tuesday.
Imran was in good health, according to Gohar’s prior confirmation, and new medical findings will be forthcoming shortly.
He claimed that after the PTI reported that its imprisoned leader was experiencing health problems, physicians were permitted to see Imran at Adiala Prison.
Gohar had previously stated that despite Imran’s illness, no attorney, family member, or party leader had been let to see him since October 3. He continued by saying that the PTI had requested permission from the interior ministry for a family member, party leader, or medical expert to meet the founding chairman.
Gohar stated that “government doctors, along with medical specialists and an ENT specialist (otolaryngologist), had arrived at the jail” in an interview with Dawn.com today.
The two doctors met Imran around 4 p.m., he later claimed in a post on X.
“We were informed a while ago that thank God, Khan sahib is in good health and had exercised for an hour today. Gohar stated, “We will receive medical reports from them shortly, and I will share them with you.”
“I would want to thank all of the PTI employees and supporters who showed concern for Khan Sahib’s well-being. “May God bless you all,” he continued.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif responded to Gohar by saying, “We sincerely hope this will put your anxiety to rest.”

Imran was “found to be active,” according to the Pims medical report that Gohar released. He had a normal pulse and blood pressure and was afebrile.
It stated that Imran had been complaining of dyspepsia for the previous five days and that he was already taking medicine for it.
He has been taking medication for tinnitus for the past three months, and there have been no new complaints about his ears. The assessment stated, “He does not currently require any additional medication because he is otherwise fit and healthy.”
After getting guarantees regarding Imran’s health and the fact that a medical professional would visit Adiala Jail today to assess him, the PTI had cancelled a scheduled rally in Islamabad the day before.
The protest would have taken place at the same time as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, which is now taking place in Islamabad under extremely strict security.
The majority of the party’s demands, including setting up a meeting between party leaders and founding chairman Imran Khan and facilitating his medical examination, were met by the government, which had previously refused to back down from its tough stance on dealing with PTI protesters with a “iron hand” if they attempted to protest during the SCO moot.
Jemima demands the release of Imran
Imran’s ex-wife, Jemima Goldsmith, expressed dissatisfaction with his treatment in prison and demanded his release on Tuesday.
She asserted on the X platform on Tuesday that there had been “serious and concerning developments regarding my sons’ father, Imran Khan’s treatment in prison” over the past few weeks.
She said that Imran’s court proceedings had been postponed and all visits from his family and attorneys had been halted by Pakistani officials.
“His weekly calls to his sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, who are British and live in London, were stopped on September 10th, in addition to cutting off in-person visits, and in defiance of a court order,” she wrote.
She asserted that Imran was being mistreated by jail officials based on some sources.
He is now totally cut off from the outside world, in solitary confinement, and in utter darkness. “His solicitors are worried about his security and welfare,” she continued.
